I looovvve adventure time..freakin adore this show, but I have to say i wasn’t a HUGE fan of the cake the cat and fiona the human episode. It was a good Idea, switch the main characters genders around. THATS IS AN EQUATION FOR SUCCESS!!, but the writters fell into a rather stereotypical story telling style for female main characters. try and make her prove her femininity and spend the whole episode trying to get the guy. Now they did have a nice ending message. Just be yourself! buuuuut I do wish it was more adventure oriented rather then relationship oriented. I know jake has a thing for bubble gum, but that isn’t the core topic of the show. It’s adventures. They should have given Cake the Cat and Fiona the human a more adventure heavy episode.
Women are strong creatures, they do not need to prove that they are “femine women” nor try so hard to get the man of thier dreams. These values shouldn’t be perpetuated in our cartoons. It sends the wrong message to our young girls. that is all
